Practice principal, trained to
qualify as a Chartered Physiotherapist in the Royal Navy, serving from 1976-1989,
performing medical assistant duties at sea and on Search and Rescue helicopters.
Towards
the end of his navy days, Reg became inspired by the healing effects of acupuncture
and completed his two year training with the British College of Acupuncture who
train only health professionals and is therefore a member of the British Acupuncture
Council. He is also an Advanced Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered
Physiotherapists.
In 1993 Reg completed research into the benefits of acupuncture
for chronic low back pain resulting in the award of a degree from the University
of Exeter.
Over the last 15 years Reg has taught other Physiotherapists
and health professionals across the country, whilst continuing to develop his
successful private practice.
In addition to his private practice Reg works
as a Clinical Specialist in Acupuncture with the NHS Pain Relief Clinic in RCHT
Treliske, Truro
